This paper presents an overview of terms, concepts, trends and technologies that are relevant to today\u27s business. It describes the basics of data and information integration and flow in a company through a central ERP system with concepts of CRM and SCM. The emergence of big data as a tributary of a huge number of often unstructured data from different sources can become a central problem or opportunity for advancement and achievement of competitive advantages of a company. Ignorance of key figures and/or the non-acceptance of new business conditions, new technologies and possible deployment solutions are the main reasons for non-productivity and poor business performance. To demonstrate the dynamics of appearance and popularity of terms, concepts, trends and technologies this paper offers a tabular overview of the frequencies based on the data from 3 global databases. Meta analysis shows the expected future development of analytical trends and technologies. This paper is intended for those who lead, run and participate in projects of implementation of large software systems, dealing with quality management of business, or want to understand the complexity of this area and the future directions of development

Virtualization is a technique that may be encountered in all parts of an ICT infrastructure. The benefits of virtualization for an infrastructure are recognized by a growing number of companies. In this way, virtualization creates prerequisites for the further improvement of the entire information system. Another reason is the growing awareness of environmental issues at the global level, which has become a large external sponsor of this technology. While virtualization technology has been known about for several decades, its hay day is yet to come. In the following years many jobs will be create because of it, from the user desktop and notebook computers, to the server in all businesses. This article examines the impact of virtualization in business enterprises, with emphasis on infrastructure costs and improved business functions. It points to the large savings that can occur even in mediumā€sized enterprises. Claims are verifiable quantitative indicators, particularly in the procurement of equipment. It also demonstrates the benefits of virtualization while performing everyday tasks that take place within the IT department. We discuss the correlation of increased flexibility and convenience, and agile response to market demands, while reducing capital and operating costs, and increasing the competitiveness of companies in the market

There are two reasons for a formal review of the formal forms of education: the development speed of data-communication technologies and the increasing willingness of business entities to apply the same in a very strong competitive battle for dominance at the market. Although not only reason they are a sufficient challenge for educational institutions to adjust their curricula especially when they will help to better prepare their students for the labour market. Professional practice as a form of the highest levels of taxonomies, observed by BloomĆ¢??s scale, should be used for evaluating student performance, but also for evaluating the quality and marketing of all available programs. This paper presents the experience of professional studies of computer science at Polytechnic of Rijeka acquired through the organization of professional practice in those businesses, which represent a potential place of work after the completion of studies. Conducted research, together with the acquired experience can be a framework for any changes or modifications to curriculum and teaching methods. Respondents pattern for the two main groups: business owners, which basic business is providing IT services and those which use computer to support base of operations. What do respondents who supervise professional practice think about the readiness of graduates for inclusion in their business, which competencies are expected of potential candidates for employment and what are their proposals for changing the program

Optimized Passive Defense Measures via IR Imaging

In this paper, we study IR spectroscopy system design by optimizing the radiation energy in the plane of the surface temperature and wavelength. We provide infrared system designing criteria towards the formation of the optimized image of an arbitrary radiating body. As per this formulation, we find that an optimal image arises via an intrinsic statistical measure as late time thermal effects. We also outline the qualitative characteristics of the thermal radiation energy and associated quantities undermining its stability. This classifies (un)stable radiation zone detection towards cutting edge IR based information theory research & development in designing of thermal detectors. Finally, we discuss perspective applications of the IR technology, ensemble averaging, digital coding, and formation of an optimal thermal image
